"A lying dog is still a lying dog. Even when he's smiling and wagging his tail. The same is true in Love."

Came across this in a book I just read. Lies, lies, lies. Why do people wanna lie? To cover themselves up, or to save themselves or someone from trouble. Usually for this kinda reasons. But how many actually tell lies to let the other party live a better life but instead let him/herself suffer in silence? I doubt there are many.

Promising words are the worst kinda lies. I swear.
"I promised myself not to let you cry again."
"I'll love you till the end of time."
"I'll love you from now till forever."
"You will always be mine."
"I swear I won't cheat on you."
Why say it when you know it wouldn't be true for long? I've been the victim and yet the culprit of this kinda things. Of course, being the culprit is much easier then being the victim, that's for sure.

You once told me those and I believed every word you said. You thought me how to love again but now gave me the phobia. I hate you but yet I love you. I dislike you but yet I like you. It's contradicting man.

I don't know what else to say. Lol.
